BEIJING, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Norway's Gyda Westvold Hansen came out the winner of the first women's Nordic combined World Cup of the season in Lillehammer, Norway on Friday.

Her compatriot Mari Leinan Lund had led after the ski-jumping but world champion Hansen pushed her into second in the cross country section as she triumphed by 8.4 seconds.

Leinan Lund jumped 98 metres on the hill to hold the clear lead going into the skiing, but she could not hold on against the sheer power of her 19-year-old Hansen on the 5 kilometre course.

Italy's Annika Seiff was third.
