NEW YORK, New York - U.S. stocks reversed course Thursday after ratcheting up gains earlier in the week. U.S. Treasury yields continued to soften with the 10-year note falling to 10.45 percent.

Major losers Thursday were Cisco and Walmart.

While the S&P 500 showed marginal downward movement, the Dow Jones and NASDAQ Composite indices faced relatively modest declines.
