Nashville SC acquired midfielder Ahmed Qasem from top-flight Swedish side IF Elfsborg on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old Swede is signed through 2027 with an option for 2028. He will occupy a U22 Initiative slot.
'Ahmed is a dynamic attacking player who has the ability to create and finish scoring opportunities,' Nashville general manager Mike Jacobs said. 'His athleticism and versatility enable him to contribute in a number of different roles and options.'Qasem registered 11 goals and 13 assists in 89 matches with Elsborg from 2021-25.
